Retweet contest winners
Tuesday, April 27th, 2010I’m an active Twitterer, and I see all kinds of retweets throughout the day. Something like this:
Retweet this for a chance to win an iPad from @thiscompanyhere!
Certainly, for the companies or individuals offering the prizes, it’s a great deal. Potentially hundreds or thousands of Twitterers doing their advertising dirty work for them, for free.
But has anyone heard of someone actually winning one of these prizes? Not to be cynical (who, me?!) but it seems like there’s great potential for contest winners to hold out on the rewards.
