Just to establish some rules around here, I’ve formally written up a moderation policy for the site. Basically, the gist is don’t be a jerk and add value to the discussion. That’s it.

Sorry for the silence everyone. I recently contracted with a new hosting provider and my inability to find a few headache-inducing hours to move the blog and database over to the new host is the reason for the quiet. Of course, I could be writing in the meantime, but why do that when I know I’m going to move anyway?
I hope to make the move sometime this week, then we’ll be back in action.
Argh. After a few days of downtime, I’m back up. Best I can tell the primary Wordpress user got corrupted somehow. There was no data loss, and the user still exists but just somehow stopped working.
To put this more technically, some doohickey got jumpled into the thingamaran.
Hopefully I’ll have some more exciting content in the upcoming days, but for now I’m just happy to be back. I finally feel whole again.
