February >28th
Happy Leap Day, everyone! I find myself trying to write the date as much as possible today, just to get it down on paper.
Once in college a friend did some quick addition to get the date of his upcoming party, so the hand-written invites went out with the date “February 30″. Believe it or not, there was actually a February 30, 1712 in Sweden! Swans on Tea has a great history of this little bit of calendar weirdness.
Even Google is celebrating the day in their own little way.
How are you all celebrating Leap Day?

The first thing somebody said to me today was “Happy Leap Day” to which I responded “Dude, Leap Day was a week ago.”
It’s 24 February

@Chris:
Very cool!
It constantly amazes me how the calendar, something so integral to society, economy, and culture, has been so variable throughout history.

This year’s February 30th Party was quite a blast. Too bad you guys don’t live closer.
Maybe in four years…
