Pride (not the Deadly Sin)
Tonight I had the honor of printing and binding the first draft of my wife’s second book.
Here she is, in all of her glory. (The book, not the wife. The wife’s glory will be forthcoming in a future blog post.)

When I finish a post for you all to read, I’m a little giddy after the creative juices have coursed through my veins and the research has tingled my cerebral synapses. I cannot imagine what it must be like to finish a 94,000 word behemoth like this and not want to jump for joy so hard that you risk electrocution on the chandelier. As a mere spectator in this process, I can only express how proud I am that not only did Robin start this process, she crafted an engaging story that will, with luck, bring joy to tens of thousands of readers in the near future. Way to go, Robin! You rock.
If you’re interested in following along with the process, Robin will be continuing to write about the editing process over at her Second Book Blog. You should go check it out.
